The EXP 62 Plus operates on a 230-volt, 30-amp circuit. Power to the laminator is controlled by a main breaker switch. The top and bottom laminating rollers feature independent heating controls and are capable of reaching temperatures up to 300 degrees. The laminator speed direction and fan controls are located on the right-hand panel. Speed is controlled with the turn of a knob. The EXP 62 plus can operate at speeds up to 10 feet per minute. Rear cooling fans help keep thermal films flat when exiting the laminator. Laminating roller height and pressure is adjusted with a spring tension handle the rollers can gap up to one half inch. A removable safety shield helps keep fingers safe during the lamination process. A print squaring guide helps ensure that prints enter the laminator perfectly straight. Film supply tension is adjusted with a simple turn. An integrated release liner take-up allows operators to laminate with pressure sensitive materials. An optional slitter kit trims materials as they exit the laminator, an optional foot pedal also allows for hands free mounting and laminating.
