The MBM AC0648 Scorer add-on is an accessory that installs into several different MBM paper folder models including the 1500S and 1800S. It expands the machine capability to allow for a score/crease that makes for easy hand-folding, rather than a fully-completed fold. This option is popular for when you are using a thick paper stock or full-color printed paper, as folding without scoring first can sometimes lead to cracking or breaking.
