EagleCell™ heat-activated honeycomb mounting boards feature a proprietary open-core design that is engineered with 95% open space and an I-beam-like structural strength. This unique design creates an extremely lightweight mount board without affecting the strength and quality, delivering superior stability for carrying shear, bending, and compressive loads. It provides impressive rigidity and warp resistance.

These strong, sustainable mounting boards are 1/4" thick with triple-thick, bright white clay-coated liners that are manufactured for excellent ink coverage and exceptional color gloss. The core is bonded to bright-white SFI certified surface papers. The virgin core material is sourced from FSC certified forests and makes for easy and clean cuts, perfect for professional presentations. The hot-melt adhesive is made from plants and is low-temp, activating at 150°F and featuring no plastic film (just a liner). It forms a permanent bond to most media and papers and works great in many heated roll laminators and dry mount presses.

EagleCell™ is the recyclable and sustainable solution for replacing foam, plastic, metal, and wood. They are all-paper honeycomb graphics boards with 100% recyclable paper core and surface papers, sourced from FSC certified forests. EagleCell with adhesive may be able to be disposed of with your corrugated boxes, depending on the image that is adhered to it and local standards; please check with your local recycling center.
