The Destroyit® 4005CC Cross Cut Paper Shredder is a HIPAA/FACTA compliant shredder used by departments for medium volume shredding. It can shred 24-26 sheets at a time, at speeds up to 30 fpm (feet per minute). The 4005 cross-cut paper shredder includes the MBM "SPS" (Safety Protection System) package which includes an electronically controlled, transparent safety shield in the feed opening, an "Easy Switch" control element that uses color codes and back-lit symbols to indicate operational status, an automatic reverse and power cut-off to prevent paper jams, an automatic power cut-off when the shred bag is full or when the cabinet door is opened, double protection against overheating, and an "ESM" (Energy Saving Mode) after 30 minutes of inactivity. The automatic start and stop feature is controlled by a photo cell. 

Destroyit 4005's blades are high quality, hardened steel cutting shafts that are soft metal resistant and can shred staples, paper clips, credit cards, and CDs. An interesting design is the automatic oil injection that insures optimal performance at all times.
