The Coverbind CBPF450 paper folding machine is an upgrade to the Coverbind CBFP440, with two more options available for popular folds, and it folds almost twice as many sheets in an hour. The six total folds available are Letter, Zig-Zag, Half, Gate, Fold Out, and Double Parallel. This tough and versatile paper folder can fold documents up to 18” long and 12.25” wide, allowing for easy folding of letters, legal ledgers, or tabloid-length documents.
The Coverbind CBPF450 letter folding machine has a telescoping conveyor system that can hold up to 500 completed sheets. It also has a 6-digit resettable counter and an 8-digit lifetime counter. Users can select the AutoBatch application for simple batch folding. To begin, simply enter the desired number of sets, the number of sheets for each set, and the time interval between sets. It is that simple. The folder machine has an optional multi-sheet feeder** with a specialized feed system with its own mechanism that enables up to 4 stapled or unstapled sheets to be folded at once. The Coverbind CBPF450 has a lot of good qualities, from top to bottom. It’s great if you need to get a lot of fold jobs done in a short amount of time. This paper folder can easily fold 15,500 sheets every hour, up to 500 sheets at a time. I’m able to set up multiple jobs on the full-color touchscreen by inputting my job preferences. After that, it’s just press start and go. I don’t have to be to close by to monitor the job progress. They’ll be stacked neatly on the extended conveyor belt,
Things You Should Consider Before Buying the Coverbind CBPF450 Paper Folder
While it’s a great addition to any workspace, if you don’t have the space or need the high output speeds, you can check out the little brother, CBPF440. The CBPF440 will fold up to 7,700 sheets an hour – almost half that of the CBPF450. Just as impressive, this little brother is about half the size so it’s perfect to sit on the edge of your desk. The CBPF450 would also not be ideal if you don’t need extensive folding options. The CBPF440 is pre-programmed with only 4 standard folds.

In my opinion, the CBPF450 is the best paper folder for large schools, churches, or offices that need to send out thousands of mailers, marketing materials, or letters. You don’t need to do much at all, just load up to 500 sheets, even if there are multiple fold jobs, and set your job preferences. It's a fantastic addition for people who want to add time back into their day easily, quickly, and efficiently.
