This unique cutter uses a rotary die system to produce automated, continuous-load cutting. The dies are flexible, wrapping around a mandrel for rotation-style cutting. They come in a huge selection of common cut sizes, and customized dies can also be produced for your unique needs. The Dyna-Cut RD435 dies are incredibly easy to change out by just peeling off the installed die, and then rolling on the next one -- it can be done in just about a minute or two. Rotary die cutting provides print service centers with immense flexibility in the design of finished pieces which can be specifically tailored to your client’s request.

The automation of this system makes it incredibly efficient to use, producing as many as 6,000 cycles per hour. This speed combines with the 8-inch thick stack capacity to make an easy to set it and forget it -- just set up the machine using the handy touch screen control panel, press start, and move on to a different task. Entry into the system from the feeder is done via a top-feed vacuum system, which means it can easily be used with all kinds of paper stocks up to 400 gsm. The exit tray is on a conveyor to create a neat stack, while also automatically separating the scrap and discarding it to the waste bin below the exit tray. No more peeling off mis-cut edges, or sorting through finished product and scraps.

The versatility of the RD435 is probably the most notable feature; the one that customers continuously rave about. With the various dies available, you can produce a huge variety of digital print and packaging products, including (but not limited to) custom-shaped brochures, direct mailers, invitations, retail packages and boxes, labels, greeting cards, playing cards, tear-off vouchers, tickets, stickers, party favors, doorknob hangers, gift card holders, and more. It can handle starting sheet sizes as small as 8.25" W x 11" H and up pages as large as 14" W x 20" H. These dies are made from a premium PTFE surface treatment with a hard coat flash chrome, cryogenic hardening that increases the longevity of the die with abrasive materials. Ejection fingers keep materials from sticking to the die cavity and eliminate the need for ejection foam.
