The 3-position cutting turret is the cutter's winning feature, this holds a glass scoring wheel, scoring tip for scoring acrylic materials and a cutting blade for picture frame matboard and foam board materials up to 1/4" (6mm). Switching from glass to plastic to mat cutting, or any other sequence, is done in seconds by simply rotating the turret. It can cut glass, mirror, acrylic, matboard, and foamboard. The cutting head rides on high tensile strength steel, hard chrome plated and polished, resulting in smoother gliding action for consistent cutting head performance and longevity. A patented lever-type clamping system secures substrate in place in heights up to 48" to prevent buckling and shifting of material during the cutting process. A ramping feature allows the lifting of the scoring wheel on top edge of glass resulting in a cleaner edge break when scoring glass. Secure, rigid, and safe cutting is assured as the cutter can be mounted on the wall or as a freestanding installation.
