Manual Comb Binding Machines
Choosing to buy a manual comb binding machine is a great solution for those with lower volume binding needs; anyone who would benefit from the capability to punch and bind documents, books, and reports in-house, but who does not have the quantity requirement that would benefit from an electric comb binding machine. Some customers who enjoy manual comb binding systems include smaller churches, schools (and individual teachers/classrooms), small businesses, start-up non-profit organizations, individuals, and more. In general, manual comb punch and bind machines are ideal for anyone who needs to bind less than about 100 books per month.

Comb binding is a two-step process; punching the pages, and then adding the comb spine to bind the pages together. A manual comb binding machine will have a manual punch as well as a manual bind component. The punching is accomplished with a handle, and the comb spreader (comb opener) can be held in the open position while you lace your sheets into the open comb.
